Turkish American Association for Business held the Annual Dinner at The Houstonian Hotel on April 18, 2007, located 111 North Post Oak Lane, Houston, Texas, 77024. The evening was a great success for TAAB and we thank all our guests especially R. A. Rosenberg and TAAB corporate sponsors who participated in this wonderful event.

The event began with registration and reception at the dining area. Following the introduction and recognition of our corporate sponsors, it was time for our keynote speaker for the evening, R. A. Rosenberg, Vice President & CFO for Exxon Mobil – Upstream Business Services.

Mr. R. A. Rosenberg is the Vice President and CFO for the Upstream Business Services at Exxon Mobil.

Mr. Rosenberg was previously Senior Vice President, Financial and Administrative Services and a member of the Management Committee of Exxon Company, USA, the domestic operating division of Exxon Corporation.

Mr. Rosenberg joined Exxon Company, U.S.A. in 1971 in the Company’s Houston headquarters and served in a number of financial and management assignments in the Controller’s Department. After serving as Administrative Manager of the Baytown Refinery, he became Executive Assistant to the President of Exxon Company, U.S.A.

After two marketing management assignments in Exxon Company, U.S.A., he was appointed Assistant Controller of Exxon Company, International in New Jersey, which was responsible for Exxon’s oil and gas business outside North America and then served as Assistant Treasurer of Exxon Corporation from July 1990 until July 1994. He then served as Executive Director, Finance, Esso UK plc, in London.

Mr. Rosenberg is a board member of Central Houston, Inc.; a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Governors of The Houston Forum; and a member of the Financial Executives Institute.

Mr. Rosenberg addressed the audience on the topic of “Outlook on National & International Energy Markets” and spoke about the energy strategies & trends in the near future. Following his speech, Mr. Rosenberg was presented a gift by Coskun Caglar.

TAAB President Dogan Baysal gave the final speech for 2007 review and calendar. The evening was concluded by door prizes ceremony.

This was TAAB’s 5th Annual Dinner which was attended by more than 150 professionals and business owners.
